Three months after she was ‘blindsided’ by photos of her fiancé enjoying an intimate brunch with another woman, DailyMail.com can exclusively reveal that Kimberly Guilfoyle and Donald Trump Jr. are done.
As a consolation prize, President-elect Trump made Guilfoyle the ambassador to Greece.
According to one source familiar with the family: ‘There is no more Kimberly and Don – at least not romantically. Their engagement hasn’t officially been called off yet. They were waiting until after the inauguration to announce.’
And while Kimberly, 55, hasn’t been seen with Don Jr., 46, for weeks, he has been spending an increasing amount of time with Palm Beach socialite and ‘it girl,’ Bettina Anderson – the new woman in his life about whom he is said to be ‘crazy.’
The source said: ‘The truth is Don and Bettina are still very much together. He’s crazy about her.’
DailyMail.com first exposed his romance with the 38-year-old blonde when the pair were seen together canoodling over brunch in Palm Beach towards the end of the summer.
And most recently, exclusive DailyMail.com photos of the couple walking hand in hand after a cozy dinner in Palm Beach Monday night serve as further incontrovertible proof the soon-to-be First Son has moved on from his fiancée.
Now, though they have yet to officially announce the split, it seems all too clear that, as Don Jr.’s romance with Kimberly is in the rear-view mirror.
Meanwhile his relationship with Bettina is going from strength to strength.
As exclusively revealed by DailyMail.com, just this past weekend President-elect Donald Trump’s eldest son lavishly celebrated Bettina’s 38th birthday with her in the billionaire’s paradise of Palm Beach.
On Friday night Don Jr. treated Bettina to an extravagant birthday dinner, including a bottle of 2013 vintage Salon champagne which typically costs as much as $1,300.
Posting to her social media under the caption ‘S is for Spoiled,’ Bettina pictured the bottle being poured by a waiter and added: ‘How sweet it is to be loved by you,’ accompanied by the James Taylor song and a further nod to her new beau, ‘IYKYK,’ meaning, ‘If You Know, You Know.’
Bettina was treated to a birthday cake presented to her at the table but the icing on the evening was an astonishing 19-inch Y-shaped diamond necklace in 18-carat white gold.
With more than 100 jewels weighing in at 28.27 carats the piece was from Palm Beach’s Hamilton Jewelers, credited by Bettina in an earlier post titled ‘Birthday baubles.’
It is unclear if Bettina was loaned the piece for the evening, or if it was a birthday gift, but similar pieces fetch well over $100,000.
