Three GPs who run a medical practice caring for thousands of patients in Great Barr have been suspended for three more months after it emerged communication between them had broken down. The three medics were all suspended six months ago from running Great Barr Medical Practice after inspectors raised concerns that patients were suffering poor care.
A team of caretaker medics were sent in to run affairs. Inspectors have now found that a long-running dispute between the three partners was behind the failings.
Even now the trio are not cooperating with each other, nor with the caretaker doctors or the Black Country Integrated Care Board which commissions services, the Care Quality Commission has found.
