Donald Trump has been accused of twisting the Israeli government’s position, when recalling the January 2020 assassination by U.S. drone of an Iranian general.
Trump on Wednesday night described the strike which killed Maj. Gen. Qassim Soleimani, who led the powerful Quds Force of Iran‘s Revolutionary Guards.
Soleimani was killed when his convoy was leaving Baghdad airport, and was hit by a drone.
