Summit Carbon Solutions planning reroutes for proposed North Dakota carbon pipeline
By Tom Tucker
(Fargo, ND) — Representatives with Summit Carbon Solutions continue to negotiate with landowners in North Dakota, after regulators in the state turned down the company’s request for a road permit, citing concerns with the company’s plan to build a CO2 pipeline across the state.
The concerns include the pipe’s proposed location around Bismarck.
In a press release issue Monday morning, a company representative said Summit Carbon Solutions is looking at plans again and will address those issues in a new application, including reroutes.
The company is “determined to get this right for everyone involved”.
Summit Carbon Solutions reports securing 80% of voluntary easements for its pipeline route in North Dakota.
