A quick update on my case which the judge said she would decide on July 31st. The can (of worms) has been kicked down the street for many weeks after the judge decided not to announce a decision as promised after seeing that the Dutch government was using a law that no longer exists.
The caretaker cabinet then changed the law to criminalise dissent even further as it did when it lost a case over its lockdown fascism and then changed the law to make its actions ‘legal’ if against all definitions of justice.
Ah, justice. Remember that?
The judge will be under tremendous pressure not to embarrass the government (that’s its job) but judges in a free society are about dispensing justice and fairness, not acting as a rubber stamp for tyranny.
