The widespread riots in France have stretched into their fifth day as migrants continue to burn down parts of the country, hijack vehicles, and attack bystanders in response to a 17-year-old Muslim who was killed at the hands of police last week.
The way the riots unfolded, which have become the worst in France in over 20 years, are eerily similar to a Netflix program released last year called “Athena.”
The tragic killing of a young boy ignites an all-out war in the community of Athena, with the victim’s older brothers at the heart of the conflict.

“Athena” begins with a boy who was beaten to death by French police. The victim’s brother then rallies Algerians for an insurrection in their French city, which prompts the deployment of riot police. At that point, the violence escalates to chaotic levels and the riots grow out of control across the country.
In other words, the plot is exactly what is playing out right now in France.
Could this be predictive programming, or simply an eerie coincidence?
