Special ‘coronation lessons’ will be offered to schoolchildren across the country this week to prepare them for the great event.
They will be able to take part in a coronation-themed, multiple-choice quiz, including the question: how many diamonds in the Imperial State Crown which the King will wear as leaves Westminster Abbey?*
Education Ministers have commissioned a series of lesson plans and teaching materials for primary and secondary schools.
