God is looking after the two of us. When our car was in the garage for its annual service, the mechanics spotted that both front tyres had been cut. The cuts were identical, on the inside of the tyres, both four inches long and down to the canvas. The car is well maintained and the tyres had done less than 2,000 miles so it wasn’t wear and tear. It’s a miracle we’re still alive. Very few people know where the car is kept. Now, who could have done such a thing? It wasn’t an accident and it wasn’t vandals. Let me think… who could possibly want me dead?
