The Saudis are the most prolific builders of fantastical cities in the world. First Neom and now New Murabba with its futuristic centerpiece of a golden cube (The Mukaab) of 1,300 on each side. This is a combination of physical and virtual reality that sounds like an immersive Metaverse simulation.
There are more questions than answers at this point, and there is much explaining to do. All of the promo videos are simulations, but to get to this point, millions of dollars have already been spent. Notably, the entire downtown area of New Murabba will all be built from scratch and will be completed by 2030 – just 7 years away. It is designed to be a “15 minute” city, saturated with smart city sensors and surveillance technology. New Murabba can rightly be called a Technate.
The golden cube is reminiscent of the passage in the book of Revelation (Rev. 21:16+) that describes the New Jerusalem that comes down from heaven, which is 1,500 miles on each side with streets of gold. ⁃ TN Editor
