In June 2021, it was revealed that Hancock, 44, had breached coronavirus restrictions with Gina Coladangelo, who was an adviser in the Department of Health and Social Care. At the time of the affair, Hancock was married to Martha Hoyer Millar, who he has a daughter and two sons with.
After the scandal, Hancock apologised for breaking his own Covid-19 rules and resigned from this position.
Since then Hancock has been keeping out of the public eye while continuing to serve as Conservative MP for West Suffolk – a role that comes with a £84,144 salary and other perks.
