What is the government of the United Kingdom hiding?

On January 18, 2022 the Biden Administration submitted a number of proposed amendments to the International Health Regulations.

Prior to the 75th World Health Assembly (May 22-28, 2022) the U.K. government was obligated to prepare a legal opinion and a risk analysis of the U.K. position regarding the proposed amendments.

On May 1, 2022, a U.K. citizen submitted a Freedom of Information request (online) requesting the legal opinion and risk analysis.

On July 6, 2022, the Freedom of Information Team responded to the request with a counter-request for clarification.

On July 7, 2022, the U.K. citizen replied via email with a clarification of the request.

On August 5, 2022, the Freedom of Information Team responded to the request and stated that the information that was requested did indeed exist, but would NOT be made available to the U.K. citizen.

On August 8, 2022, the U.K. citizen submitted a formal request for an internal review of the response provided by the Freedom of Information Team.
