Joe Rogan’s recent remark that young, healthy adults should reconsider getting a Covid-19 shot triggered Prince Harry.
Last month, Rogan said “if you’re, like, 21 years old, and you say to me, ‘Should I get vaccinated?’ I’ll go ‘No.’”“Look, don’t do anything stupid, but you should take care of yourself,” he added. “You should — if you’re a healthy person, and you’re exercising all the time, and you’re young, and you’re eating well, like, I don’t think you need to worry about this.”
The prince, who’s infamously married to Meghan Markle, took offense to Rogan’s comments, claiming he should “stay out of it.”
“This issue is in today’s world with misinformation endemic,” he said on a Thursday podcast. “You’ve got to be careful about what comes out of your mouth.” Prince Harry isn’t a fan of the First Amendment, given another comment he made in regards to the media.
“I’ve got so much I want to say about the First Amendment; I still don’t understand it, but it is bonkers,” he said. He claimed online algorithms create an “echo chamber of no pushback,” as if algorithms weren’t already geared toward supporting establishment narratives.
