I was waiting outside for Wilko’s to open, when a lovely Gentleman came and waited, we started to chat and I found out he was a retired fireman, I was saying I don’t wear a mask, he did have one on but didn’t like them, then he told me when they are training firemen they have to wear a mask and march round the parade ground until they get the effects of Carbon Dioxide they can start to walk strangely picking their feet up in a strange way staggering about, that’s when they come and rip the masks off some pass out, go dizzy, physically sick. this is done to make them experience the reaction, and must not go into a fire without their oxygen packs etc.
