People worldwide DO NOT WANT “Smart” Meters – electric, gas, and water. Customers’ rates have been increased to install them and they DO NOT save meaningful amounts of energy.
Tens of millions of “Smart” Meters have been installed and millions more are planned despite all their problems – their need for frequent replacement, fires, explosions, catastrophic cybersecurity risks etc. They also emit high levels of harmful electromagnetic radiation which can and have made people and animals sick
Thanks to Thea Scarato, Executive Director of Environmental Health Trust, for testifying to her community council about the exposure risks to “Smart” water meters, how they contribute to E-Waste due to their short-life spans, and how they cause injuries and deaths to laborers who mine for the toxic ingredients needed to build these completely unnecessary and dangerous devices.
