‘Police have apologised to a dad after wrongly telling him he was not allowed to sit in his front garden.
Daniel Connell filmed himself arguing with police officers who arrived at his doorstep in Eastwood, Rotherham.
In the video an officer tells the dad that he has to “stay indoors because of Covid-19”.
“The virus does not stop on your front garden,” the officer claims after spotting Daniel playing with his kids.
“You cannot come on your front garden. I’m recording [this video], you cannot come on your front garden.”
