As Syria’s Liberating Campaign Advances, Anti-Syria Propaganda Intensifies

In covering US wars of aggression against nations threatening no one, establishment media get their talking points from Pentagon and CIA contacts — serving the imperial state against its enemies.

Since mid-December, Syrian forces liberated over 2,000 square km from US/Turkish supported jihadists in Idlib and Aleppo provinces — freeing tens of thousands of civilians from captivity as human shields.

Establishment media report a vastly different scenario. The NYT lying machine perverted reality by calling northern Syria near Turkey’s border “the end of the world.”

Falsely claiming “(h)undreds of thousands of Syrians are trying to get out of Syria,” the Times ignored their relief to be going home, grateful to Syrian forces for liberating them.

The reliable Southfront website said “Idlib city is preparing a ticker tape parade for Assad” as a show of thanks.

According to the Times, liberation is disaster — indeed for aggressor USA, its imperial partners, and jihadist foot soldiers, polar opposite the case for countless thousands of civilians who are free at last.

Ignored in all Times reports are atrocities US supported jihadists commit, along with Pentagon terror-bombing, massacring thousands of civilians, destroying vital Syrian infrastructure.

Nothing is reported about US aggression in one war theater after another, nothing about countless millions of casualties and vast destruction from all US preemptive wars throughout the post-WW II era — against nonbelligerent nations threatening no one.

Nothing is said about US/Turkish supported jihadists using Idlib’s deescalation zone as a platform to shell government troops and residential areas multiple times daily.

These cutthroat killers, the US, NATO, Turkey, Israel and the Saudis bear responsibility for millions of Syrian refugees.

Government forces, greatly aided by Russian airpower, deserve high praise for enabling hundreds of thousands of refugees to return home over the past year — what the Times and other establishment media ignore.

Anti-government jihadists and White Helmets in cahoots with them are quoted and cited in their reports, liberated Syrians grateful to their government and military ignored.

The Washington Post falsely claimed “(a) disaster in Syria as Russia and Turkey clash,” along with calling US aggression “civil war,” blaming Russia and government forces for dire humanitarian conditions — in US/Turkish jihadist controlled areas, not liberated ones supplied with humanitarian aid by Russia and Damascus.

According to WaPo, terrorist-infested Idlib and other areas are safe “haven(s)” for Syrian civilians, polar opposite reality on the ground.

WaPo falsely accused Syrian and Russian forces of “indiscriminately target(ing) schools, health facilities and mosques in a ‘scorched earth’ advance that has ravaged dozens of towns” — a bald-faced Big Lie like virtually all establishment reporting about all US wars of aggression, victims falsely blamed for US high crimes of war and against humanity.

WaPo: Moscow aims to project “global power against NATO (sic), all the while juggling President Vladimir Putin’s complicated friendship with another like-minded authoritarian, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.”

Fact: Moscow’s goal is restoring peace and stability to war-torn Syria, helping the country rebuild and enabling its people to rebuild their lives — shattered by US aggression.

As for Erdogan, he’s a handful for anyone to deal with, a self-serving thug with revanchist aims who manages to anger most foreign counterparts.

Putin wants cooperative relations with Turkey and other nations short of going along with their aggression.

The master chess player needs to pull a rabbit out of his hat to prevent escalated Turkish aggression in Syria while maintaining good relations with his regime.
